Richiedi informazioni →What it is. A cross-platform desktop application developed in-house by MontMara S.r.l. to manage prices, discounts and margins on PrestaShop e-commerce stores. Currently in production on Orologin.com and Luxislife.store for automated pricing rule application.
What it does:
- Native multi-store support: each PrestaShop site is a profile with independent database, domain, VAT rate and commission configuration
- Parametric discounts by category, brand and supplier, with batch application to selected rows
- Combined filters on product status, discount condition, category and supplier, with live search across all columns
- Automatic margin calculation accounting for marketplace fees (PayPal, Klarna, Stripe) and per-country VAT
- "Time-limited products" category management for temporary discount campaigns, with a dedicated removal action
- Configuration import/export in JSON between installations: moving the setup between PCs takes seconds
- Google Analytics GA4 integration for real-time discount/sales correlation
The technical challenge. On catalogues with thousands of products, applying discounts via PrestaShop Webservice would take hours. PriceFlow bypasses the webservice and operates directly on the MySQL database with batch transactions, reducing the operation to minutes. Margin calculation accounts for payment fees and marketplace sales, consistent with the multi-store configuration.
Tech stack: Python 3, PySide6 (Qt Framework), MySQL connector, Google Analytics Data API integration, QSettings for local profile storage, PyInstaller for desktop distribution, JSON configuration export.
